What is your job description?
UX/UI Designer – Evaluate the user experience of the products including student e-learning application and related management system, optimize the ease of use, and increase the user desirability by exploring many different approaches to solve end-user problems.
What motivates you about this job?
I’m very pleased to see that my team created a well-designed product, which brings great value to the users, making them happy, and then this value will impact the business and society.
Designing e-learning user experience is amazing. Nowadays, by utilizing the improved technique, we can learn almost whatever we’re interested in and whatever skills we want to improve, just from home. I feel there are so many possibilities that tech and design can bring to the e-learning business, including language learning and non-language learning. For example, compared with sitting in a classroom with many classmates, e-learning provides personalized learning paths, which is obviously more effective.
What do you find exciting about working at EdulinX?
As a UX designer and a member of the tech team, the company gives me a lot of freedom and support to make things better. Building good things with co-workers’ agreement is fun. Now I’m trying to renew the look and feel of the student application, and also establish the qualitative and quantitative ways of measurement of user experience. It’s not easy, but I’m happy that it makes user value, and the team helps me a lot.
What do you like about the company culture at EdulinX?
The company provides a creative environment.
During the first month when I joined the company, I was asked to create a project assessment questionnaire template for internal employees who want to initiate new projects. I designed the question structure to help them define the target problem, think about the end users’ pain points and come up with creative solutions. This made me feel the company encourages everyone to be innovative and customer-oriented.
