ELSA was founded in 2015 with investment from Google’s AI-focused venture fund, and is developing a proprietary AI speech recognition technology that focuses on correcting English pronunciation and improving speaking skills. ELSA also has an app with 20 million users in 101 countries.

Adding ELSA’s proprietary speech technology to Reallyenglish’s popular course, “Practical English,” will help to improve users’ learning efficiency. The renewed version of “Practical English 9 (Tentative)” will be released next year.
