Owans), a provider of EdTech solutions for English language learning and human resources development, has announced a partnership agreement with ELSA Corp., a startup founded in San Francisco that uses proprietary speech technology with deep learning and AI to help language learners improve their English speaking skills and pronunciation.</p>
<p>ELSA was founded in 2015 with investment from Google’s AI-focused venture fund, and is developing a proprietary AI speech recognition technology that focuses on correcting English pronunciation and improving speaking skills. ELSA also has an app with 20 million users in 101 countries.</p>
<p>Adding ELSA&#8217;s proprietary speech technology to Reallyenglish’s popular course, “Practical English,” will help to improve users’ learning efficiency. The renewed version of “Practical English 9 (Tentative)” will be released next year.</p>
